Annie Roberts

Annie Roberts is a Garrwa, Yanyuwa woman. Annie is the traditional owner of Bone Lagoon. She likes to paint sea animals and how global warming is affecting these as well as their food like sea grass. The sea levels are rising and beaches erroding she depicts nesting being in perrill and crabs less and less. Annie likes painting salt water turtles, dugongs, crabs and calendar flowers (these flowers tell you when to harvest or hunt or pick berries). Annie is also the chairperson for Mabunji.
